Bright Bucks App Eases Non-Profit Donor Fatigue

A graduate of Dakota State University, Michael VanErdewyk is a respected entrepreneur and leader in the financial technology industry. Since 2018, Michael Van Erdewyk has served as the CEO of Bright Bucks Inc., a purpose-driven mobile app designed to help people and support non-profits.

The Non-Profit App, powered by Bright Bucks, mitigates donor fatigue through its unique combination of functionalities geared toward increasing donor engagement and showcasing impact-driven non-profit projects. Donor fatigue occurs when a donor loses their eagerness to financially support a non-profit because they are not seeing the impact of their contribution.

Each non-profit member of the app can initiate fundraising campaigns and showcase their impact through a unique community page on the app. On this page, followers and donors can read news and access links to project galleries and social media pages that provide information about the non-profit’s recent activities and positive impacts. This way, donors can rest assured that additional donations will be put to good use.

Non-Profit App Creates Earnings for Non-Profits and Donors

As the founder and CEO of Bright Bucks Inc., Michael VanErdewyk’s role with the company involves providing vision and leadership to the organization, managing sales and marketing, and ensuring the growth of the company. Additionally, Michael Van Erdewyk’s Bright Bucks Inc. is committed to supporting non-profit organizations.

The Non-Profit App, powered by Bright Bucks, is a multifunction mobile app that helps non-profits increase donor engagement and foster donor support while also generating incentives for donors to improve their surrounding communities. The mobile app achieves this by offering a unique group code to each non-profit organization, creating its own community, branded with the name, logo, messaging and content where it publishes updated news on its vision, mission, projects, goals, and impacts. Non-profits can also connect their existing and prospective followers to crucial social media and gallery links.

Donor members of the app earn cash rewards when they purchase products online or in-store at any business connected to Bright Bucks and pay using the app. As of 2023, these businesses include over 300,000 locations. Donors are eligible for up to a 15 percent cashback bonus and can choose to transfer their reward to their local bank accounts or donate some or all of it to charities of their choice. This way, non-profits receive more funds from donors who are also earning money. Bright Bucks also donates 10 percent of its annual revenue to non-profits.
